Dunamu is expanding its youth support initiatives through a job program that helps young people preparing for independence enter society.

Dunamu, the operator of digital asset exchange Upbit, announced on the 7th that it held a homecoming event, “Next UP Day,” for participants of its job support program for independent youth, “Upbit Next JOB.” The event was attended by youths who took part in the internship and startup support programs, as well as representatives from regional hub institutions and the Korea Social Investment Foundation.

Through this event, Dunamu provided an opportunity for participating youths to build networks, share their growth experiences and life changes after joining the program, and gather on-site feedback to further enhance the initiative in the future.

Operated jointly by Dunamu and the Korea Social Investment Foundation, “Upbit Next JOB” is a job support program designed to help young people preparing for independence settle into society in a stable manner. The program, now in its third year, offers internships, startup support, and financial and career education. A total of 1,421 individuals have benefited from the program to date.

According to performance analysis results released by Dunamu, participants’ improvement in job competency and skills scored 4.53 out of 5. In particular, the categories of “financial assistance” and “help in preparing for the future” recorded high satisfaction scores of 4.71 and 4.59, respectively.

The program also focuses on supporting region-based employment. Over the past three years, Dunamu has collaborated with key regional hub institutions in major provincial cities such as Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan. A total of 101 organizations—including social enterprises, local companies, and small business owners—have participated as internship partners. This has created an environment where young people can gain practical work experience without leaving their regions, contributing to easing the outflow of local talent.

A talk concert was also held during the event to share participants’ experiences. Cho Jung-hyun, a young adult preparing for independence, said, “Through the internship experience, I realized that directly experiencing things is important rather than remaining in vague 고민.” He added, “Through Next Job, I was able to understand what I do well and where I need improvement, and I could set a clearer direction for my life.”

Oh Kyung-seok, CEO of Dunamu, stated, “We hope that ‘Next Job’ will become a reliable partner for young people standing at the threshold of entering society,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen a sustainable support system so that young people preparing for independence can settle stably in their communities and fully demonstrate their capabilities.”

Dunamu has selected “youth” as a core ESG keyword and continues to carry out initiatives aimed at fostering future generations and creating social value based on finance and technology. The company operates various programs, including the “Upbit Next” series for vulnerable youth, the digital finance education program “Upclass,” and the Web3 security talent development program “UPSide Academy.”
