[Cotun] “Bitcoin, Longest Downtrend Since 2018”
Bitcoin (BTC) is likely to record its longest downtrend since the 2018 bear market, according to analysis by Decrypt. Bitcoin has fallen about 53% from its all-time high in October, nearing the 56.26% decline seen during the 2018 bear market. The media outlet explained, “If February closes in negative territory, it will mark five consecutive months of decline. In June 2018, Bitcoin posted six straight months of losses,” adding, “Considering that Bitcoin has dropped 13.98% so far in February, the outlook is not bright.”
